In a shocking incident that happened near norrn end of Palm Beach Ro in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday, a regular speed limit meter displayed "abusive" words with explicit cusswords in Hindi. motorists and commuters were shocked to see wrong message on display.

video of incident was shared on Twitter by an account named Review Tkazz, and since it went online, post has accumulated mixed reactions from users.

Auto rickshaw in Navi Mumbai displays cuss words

After incident was reported to authorities, civic officials of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) immediately turned off power supply to display board to rectify embarrassing words appearing on display.

One user who saw post took to comment section and asked, "Does it happen due to hacking?" While anor person's comment re, "re is definitely an open back door to this network of display screens. "I'm not sure if CCTV network is safe too." Meanwhile, a one or person demanded, "Culprits must be given harshest of punishment."

Also, Navi Mumbai Police took to comment section and informed users that " digital board has been shut down by our traffic staff."

Haji Ali, Mumbai - diversion sign displays "smoke weed everyday"

Earlier, in a similar incident, a video emerged on social media showing a signboard in Mumbai's Haji Ali neighbourhood displaying "Smoke Weed Everyday". LED signboard that carried "smoke weed" message was seen in between construction work of Mumbai Coastal Ro Project at Haji Ali.
