Delhi Court convicts all accused in journalist Saumya Vishwanathan murder case
After the judgement pronounced by the Delhi court Saumya Vishwanathan's mother said that this would act as a deterrent against the criminals.

Delhi's Saket Court on Wednesday held accused Ravi Kapoor and others guilty in the 2008 murder case of journalist Saumya Vishwanathan.
After the judgement pronounced by the Delhi court Saumya Vishwanathan's mother, while speaking to media, said that this would act as a deterrent against the accused.

Earlier on October 13, Saket Court had reserved its judgement after the conclusion of the arguments.
Timeline:
- September 2008: Vishwanathan was found shot dead in her car in Vasant Kunj area of Delhi.
- March 2009: Arrests were made in the case. Accused Ravi Kapoor, Amit Shukla, Baljit Malik, Ajay Kumar, and Ajay Sethi were booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime (MCOCA).
