BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, on Sunday night after incident at JNU campus, spoke to media outside AIIMS hospital and condemned JNU violence while narrating brutalised students’ account.
She explained how students who wished to register mselves with new hostel room rent were attacked by goons. ding to this, she also slammed people who used social media to gar support for protests.

BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi said, " Leftist narrative is false. stress was ongoing since yesterday. ABVP was asking for registration because y wanted to study. or students have been boycotting classes. However, when students mand to start applying online to register mselves, Wi-Fi connection was cut off by left students to prevent it. After this students decided to manually register mselves, y were physically stopped. I have met 2-3 girls who have sustained injuries at different parts including ir, back, hips and private areas. y were also hit by rods. Parents took m away. One has lost his memory.”

Meenakshi Lekhi furr slammed people who were asking students to gar for protests via social media and said, “Some useless people used Twitter and Facebook to call students for protest. I think this is a shame, students should t be used like this. Such people should be barred from Twitter as y are causing chaos and anarchy. y kw CAA is t an issue. When y lose, y do this.”
