LG Sinha Vows to Avenge 'Every Drop of Blood Spilled' After Recent Terror Attacks

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Goverr Maj Sinha said on Saturday that every drop of incent blood shed in valley will be avenged, pledging to use all available resources to dismantle terror ecosystem. Speaking at BSF passing out-cum-attestation pare at STC, Humhama, he condemned Pakistan for its ongoing terror activities in region.

Commenting on recent terror attacks in Ganderbal and Baramulla districts, LG ted that terrorists targeted "our courous soldiers, civilians, infrastructure workers, and laborers from outside region."

"Unfortunately, we have a neighbour who since time of independence has continuously engd in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Despite poverty and hunger afflicting its citizens, it persists with its unholy actions of supporting terrorism and trafficking narcotics," he said.

"It has been resolved that every drop of blood shed will be avenged by our security forces. In such a situation, India's first line of defence must fulfil its duties with greater vigilance," he ded.

A local doctor and six n-local laborers were shot and killed by terrorists at a tunnel-construction site in Gagangir, Ganderbal, on Sunday. Meanwhile, an earlier attack near popular tourist destination of Gulmarg in Baramulla on Thursday resulted in deaths of four people, including two soldiers.

Sinha stated that goal of government and security forces is to eliminate terrorism and foster an environment where citizens can achieve ir dreams and aspirations.

" Border Security Force has consistently played its role in achieving this vision. We must assure public that continuous, effective and strict action will be taken against terrorists and ir support structure. Using whole-of-government approach, we are committed to utilising all available capabilities to dismantle ecosystem of terrorism," he said.

LG emphasized that enhancing anti-terrorism grid through collaboration among BSF, Army, police, and or ncies is a key priority for government.

" counter-terror grid has been strengned with coordination between security ncies. A multi-pronged strategy has been put in place to prevent infiltration," he said.

Sinha said security forces have launched a massive crackdown against narco-terror networks.

“A significant progress has been me in choking terror finance and taking exemplary action against those aiding and abetting terrorism,” he said.

LG urged for regular interactions between security forces personnel and youth, particularly NCC cets from Kashmir valley, to inspire m to join forces.

" BSF plays a crucial role in all operations to prevent infiltration and safeguard India's borders," he said.
