In a first, employees of Lok Sabha would get allowances for uniform instead of cloth piece

The employees of Lok Sabha would now be getting allowances for their uniforms instead of cloth pieces, that they used to get once in two years.

First time in history, employees working in lower house, Lok Sabha shall be getting a greater say in ir uniforms. 

A grant, upto Rs 16,000 would be given to all male employees and upto Rs 17,000 to all female employees.  stewards of chamber would be get Rs 8,000 every year and drivers would get Rs 9,000.Female security executives would be getting Rs 17,000 every year and male executives would get Rs 16,000.

" people working in parliament, belong to five key branches, including reporting, table office, and security, would receive grants. reason is because y would be dealing with Members of Parliament(MP) and various or guests. y are face of   Parliament Secretariat and hence, ir uniforms must symbolic of dignity and glamour of Parliament,” an official told Hindustan Times. 

 "Ar benefit of system is, that employees will be able to buy ir new uniforms whenever y wish to, instead of getting m every two years. employees are free to buy clos, that adhere to fixed color patterns of quality," said ar official.

At present, dress code is a pattern saree for women employees and a safari suit of eir Blue, Fawn, Prussian blue, or charcoal, depending upon section in one works at.
