Lucknow: Residents in Lucknow connected to the Dubagga substation will face a two-hour power outage on Friday (September 20) as the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) is set to conduct maintenance work on a power transformer. The electricity department has issued an advisory to consumers, urging them to make necessary preparations and offering apologies for the inconvenience.
The outage is scheduled to repair an oil leak in the LT side of Power Transformer No. 2’s Y phase. According to UPPCL, the oil seal will be replaced to prevent further leakage. The repair is necessary to ensure safe and effective operation of the transformer.
Duration of Shutdown
The power supply will be interrupted for two hours, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on September 20, 2024. UPPCL has confirmed that this temporary shutdown is required to complete the repair work safely.
