MA Naqvi: 'Our security personnel are capable to thwart any evil'

MA Naqvi, commenting on Indian Army's attack on terror camps in PoK, said that Indian security personnel are capable to thwart any such terror threats

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, while reacting on the Indian Army's attack on the terror camps that are present in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), stated, "Our security personnel are capable to thwart any such evil actions and intentions. They are on it, even today." Retaliating to Pakistan's ceasefire violation to aid infiltration into Kashmir, the Indian Army, on Sunday launched a counterattack on terror camps inside PoK opposite the Tangdhar sector. Sources report that the Indian Army has used artillery guns to target the terrorist camps which have allegedly been trying to push terrorists into the Indian territory.

Four launch pads have been targeted/destroyed 

Sources have reported that four launch pads in Neelam Valley (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) have been targeted/destroyed by the Indian Army. Sources further indicate that fatalities have also been reported on Pakistan side. About five Pakistan Army soldiers have been killed and several have been injured, the sources have reported.

Pakistan violated ceasefire 

Two soldiers and a civilian were killed as Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire in Tanghar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on Sunday, police said. Three civilians were also injured in the firing by Pakistani troops, they said. Two houses were damaged in the incident. In addition, the attack also destroyed two cars, two cowsheds which housed over 19 sheeps and cattle. Moreover, one rice godown was also damaged.

Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh had issued a warning 

GOC-in-C, Northern Command Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh had previously stated that the Indian Army is prepared and ready to take on any challenge, "The Indian Army is fully prepared and will be able to take on any challenge depending on the conditions and the opportunities at that particular time. Our warning is still intact if anybody from the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) tries to enter in India." The Lt. Gen had further added, "Our plan on this issue is very clear and our soldiers on the LoC have also been given very clear orders. For instance, recently there were few people gathered on the Pakistani side, so the officials from there stopped them sent them back to their respective places. However, if any such efforts will be taken from their side, we will surely give them a befitting reply."
