Madhya Pradesh: Scindia writes letter to CM Kamal Nath, asks him to revive sugar mills

On Thursday, Congress leer Jyotiritya Scindia wrote a letter to Chief Minister of Mhya Presh Kamal Nath asking him to restart a sugar mill in Muraina district. He said that this promise was in Congress' election manifesto and party h promised people in district that y would revive defunct sugar mill in Kailaras town in Muraina if y get elected.

"People of Muraina blessed us by electing us on all six seats in district in Assembly polls. w, it is our duty that we take necessary steps for reviving mill," said Jyotiritya Scindia in his letter.
Reports of Factionalism
Recently reports of factionalism within Congress leership in Mhya Presh h emerged. But, Congress leers in Mhya Presh were pleasantly surprised after Chief Minister Kamal Nath and former MP Jyotiritya Scindia went to a wedding toger in a helicopter, after reports h pitted m on opposite sides. However w Scindia's letter to Congress CM reminding him of party's election promise has emerged. Wher this letter is deeper than it seems, only time will tell. Scindia, who lost from family stronghold Guna in 2019 Lok Sabha polls, has been target of rumors. A few weeks ago Scindia sent speculation coursing through political landscape when he changed his bio on Twitter and purged any mentions of Congress from his personal handle.

BJP targets Kamal Nath
Mhya Presh BJP earlier this week claimed that 150 farmers h committed suicide in last 11 months in state, including 72 between January and July this year after Congress' Kamal Nath government took over. BJP Leer of Opposition Gopal Bhargava told reporters that farmers' plight in state was worrisome and several of m were t getting seeds, manure or crop loans by state government.
