Maharashtra Shocker: Man Pushes Girlfriend Off Building in Satara, Days After Navi Mumbai Incident

New Delhi: In a deeply disturbing incident, a woman was killed after being allegedly pushed off a building by her boyfriend. The incident took place on Wednesday night and has since shocked the local community.
The accused, identified as Dhruv Chikkar, and the victim, Aarushi Mishra, were both students at Krishna Medical College in Karad. According to police reports, Dhruv, originally from Sonipat in Haryana, and Aarushi, from Muzaffarnagar in Bihar, had known each other for two to three years.

They had previously studied together in Delhi before moving to Satara, where their relationship reportedly became more serious.
On the night of the incident, Dhruv and Aarushi engaged in a heated argument. Dhruv, who suspected Aarushi of infidelity, confronted her about an alleged affair with another man. The altercation escalated rapidly, and in a moment of rage, Dhruv allegedly pushed Aarushi from the third floor of their building.
Aarushi died after falling from the building, and Dhruv was injured during the confrontation and has been hospitalized. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the complete details of the incident.

A similar case had taken place in Navi Mumbai few days back where a 20-year-old woman Yashashri Shinde was stabbed to death by her boyfriend Daud Shaikh. On the day of the murder, Yashashree, who had taken a half-day leave from her job in Belapur, met Dawood near Jui Nagar railway station. During a heated argument, Dawood killed her.
