Maharashtra: Thane logs 267 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death

Thane has reported 267 new cases of coronavirus, taking infection count in Maharashtra district to 5,56,368, an official said on Monday. se new cases were recorded on Sunday, he said.

virus also claimed life of one person, which raised death toll in district to 11,369, he said, adding that COVID-19 mortality rate in Thane stood at 2.04 per cent.

In neighbouring Palghar district, COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,35,400, while death toll stands at 3,273, ar official said.
