Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary: Leaders Pay Tribute

Prime Minister Modi along with other top leaders visited Raj Ghat on Wednesday morning, and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary

PM Narendra Modi along with other top leaders visited Raj Ghat, on Wednesday morning and paid their tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary. Many other leaders either took to their social media handles or visited the memorial to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi. While the PM offered his prayers to the Father of Nation, he also posted a short video tribute on his personal Twitter handle remembering Mahatma Gandhi and his contributions to the world. Apart from the PM and top ministers in the BJP government, top leaders of the Congress, Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, and various others were also present at Raj Ghat in Delhi to pay their tributes.

After his visit to Raj Ghat, PM Modi also visited the Vijay Ghat to pay tribute to Lal Bahadur Shastri as October 2 also marks his birth anniversary.
