Mamata Banerjee wishes Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina on her birthday

The CM of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter, on Saturday, to wish Bangladesh PM, Sheikh Hasina & hoped for strong relations between two countries.

Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter, on Saturday, to wish Prime Minister of Banglesh, Sheikh Hasina. She, in her mess, hoped that relationship between two countries gets strengned.  

PM Hasina in New York 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is celebrating her 72nd birthday on Saturday. This is happening while she is in New York for an eight-day official tour at United Nations General Assembly. eldest daughter of far of Bengali Nation, Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, Sheikh Hasina is current Awami League supremo. Married to  nuclear scientist MA Wazed Miah in 1968, she is longest-serving prime minister of Banglesh.

Sheikh Hasina’s life before politics 

Sheikh Hasina, with her husband, M. A. Wazed Miah lived in West Germany during her early years because her husband worked re as a nuclear physicist. Later in 1975, she took asylum in Delhi, India while her son studied in various boarding schools of India. She got involved in active politics only in 1981 when she was me leer of  Awami League Party in Banglesh. During her time in India, she me various friends, which includes  wife of former president of India Pranab Mukherjee, Subhra Mukherjee.

Prime Minister of Banglesh Sheikh Hasina met Indian PM Narendra Modi on sidelines of UNGA at New York. This meeting concluded PM Modi’s last of engments after a week-long visit to New York. Both leers h various bilateral discussions on local and global issues during meeting. MEA after ir meeting reiterated that  state of bilateral relations and cooperation between two states are in excellent shape. y promised to maintain momentum to take India-Banglesh relationship to new heights. PMs also emphasized on ir stand of having a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and violent extremism.
