Mamata Offers Support To AAP In Delhi Assembly Polls
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee led TMC government has backed AAP ahead of the Delhi Assembly election 2025.

New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced her party Trinamool Congress’ (TMC) support for AAP in Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. This follows Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav ’s declaration of backing AAP a day earlier.
AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X, "TMC has announced support to AAP in Delhi elections. I am personally grateful to Mamata Didi. Thank you, Didi. You have always supported and blessed us in our good and bad times.”
Kejriwal also acknowledged Akhilesh Yadav’s support, saying, "Thank you very much, Akhilesh ji. You always stand with us. I, along with the people of Delhi, am grateful for this.”
The Election Commission has announced that the Delhi Assembly elections will take place in a single phase on February 5, with results to be declared on February 8.
