Hassan: In a sensational shootout in Karnataka’s Hassan district, two men were killed in Hoyasalanagar located in the KR Puram area. The daylight incident sent a shock wave across the area, when it surfaced that one of the two deceased allegedly died by suicide after killing the other person, who was his business partner. On information, the local police rushed to the spot and shifted both the victims to a nearby hospital, where they were declared dead.

The bodies of both the deceased have been preserved in the mortuary of a hospital for post-mortem. A case of murder has been registered by the police and further legal action is being taken.

Prima facie, it surfaced that the one of the deceased first shot dead the other person and later shot himself.

During the preliminary inquiry, it was found that the two men, who were killed in the firing incident in Hassan district, were involved in some business. Further investigation into the incident is being taken.

Superintendent of Police (Hassan District), Mohammad Sujitha said, "Few people had come to see a piece of land. The neighbours have seen two people having a discussion regarding a piece of land.”

“Later, they heard some shots. People presume it should be some cracked shot. But later, they found out that it was a gun fire. Two bodies have been recovered. As of now, the primary investigation reveals that one person has killed another person and then committed suicide."

Further legal action into the matter is being taken.
