Man Attacked With Deadly Weapons on Busy Bengaluru Road, 6 Arrested
Shoaib was attacked by deadly weapons by a group of men as he failed to return the money to Dawood.
Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a man was attacked with deadly weapons by a group of men in the middle of a busy road in Bengaluru's Banaswadi area on Monday night. The victim has been identified as Shoaib.
The assault stemmed from a monetary dispute. According to sources, Shoaib has borrowed a sum of Rs 1.7 lakh from his friend Dawood, one of the accused. The assault was captured in a camera. In the video, a group of men can be seen attacking Shoaib. The area was surrounded by many people but no one dared to intervene.
Shoaib was attacked by deadly weapons by a group of men as he failed to return the money to Dawood. The duo had a fight over money. So far, police have arrested six people in connection with the case. A case of attempt to murder case has been registered at Banaswadi police station. The six arrested accused include Maffees, Nisar, Mansoor, Firoz Pasha and Mehboob and Rajeeq Pasha.
It is learnt that Dawood, who was once Shoaib' class mate, along with his relatives attacked him mercilessly with a machete. Three more people involved in the assault are absconding.
It is learnt that one of the accused is a close aide of Karnataka Energy Minister K J George. Police have launched an investigation into the case. More details are awaited.
