Man flings child to save him from drowning after car falls in a river in Orchha town of Niwari district in Madhya Pradesh. Five passengers were rescued.

In a terrifying incident that was captured on camera in Madhya Pradesh, a car with five passengers including the driver fell into a river after losing balance on a bridge on a river. Netizens have been disturbed by the video shared by an Indian news agency. The footage which lasts a little over 2 minutes was captured on a CCTV. In the video, a car and an auto-rickshaw are seen coming from opposite directions on a narrow road in Orchha town of Niwari district. As the vehicles were about to collide, the driver of the car tries to sidestep the auto but eventually falls into the river after losing control. Just then the auto driver is captured fleeing the scene and the passengers are captured making attempts to get out of the car which fell in the water.

What was most disturbing in the entire video is when two of the passengers who got out of the car, fling a child from the vehicle towards the bridge so that the passerby people catch him. But the child doesn't reach the crowd and falls into the water.

All the five occupants of the car were later rescued and sent to a hospital, as per the news agency. The news agency posted the video on October 28 morning.

A user said: "Good to see quick action from the public to save lives. Humanity prevails". Another analyzed the accident saying: "Car was coming really fast considering the narrowness of the road and no barricades on the side. Rickshaw wala was wrong to run away". A third user responded to the child being flung saying: "The guy thrown the child, lucky he didn't fall short of height, else the child could have hit the wall there. It's too tough to act sensibly in situations like this". A fourth user was furious that the child was flung. He tweeted: "How could they throw the child in such a manner. If the child got hit by the wall then he might have died. Fortunately, someone jumps into the water and save him".
