While flights remained unaffected, transport facilities to airport were disrupted, as per reports. However, re have been cancellations or delays in flights. interchange train station at Manchester Airport was evacuated as a precautionary measure and an investigation was initiated into incident. Bomb disposal officers are assisting police in investigations. All railway lines at airport were closed ensuingly.
"A cordon is in place at Manchester Airport transport interchange and people are encourd to follow directions from officers," Greater Manchester Police said in a statement. "Trams, trains and buses are currently suspended to and from airport exchange."
Greater Manchester Police also tweeted in this regard, assuring citizens that re is thing to worry about. tweet re, " majority of closures that were put in place have w been lifted and traffic is returning to rmal. A small scene remains in place in ground floor area of coach stations as officers continue with inquiries."

Naked man at Airport?
Reports have emerged claiming that a naked man was seen running in and out of Manchester Airport buildings at 6:10 am in morning. After that, police cordoned off coach and train station. This incident sparked travel chaos with long queues on ros and passengers and cabin crews struggling to reach departure terminal.
