Manipur CM highlights Koirengei airfield's tourism potential; bats for preservation

Manipur has got a position on war tourism map, its Chief Minister N Biren Singh tweeted on Tuesday. He ded that Second World War and Manipur’s history of airfields cannot be separated from each or and highlighted how  Japanese would have completely changed norast India's history if it was not for several airfields built by British. Today se airfields are main part of Manipur's collective memory, he put forth, ding that this is reason why Manipur government took several steps to obtain  old airfield at Koirengei from Ministry of Defence.
