Manoj Tiwari calls free bus ride for women in Delhi a 'poll stunt'

BJP'S Delhi unit president Maj Tiwari on Tuesday took a jibe at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on free bus ride for women in state-run buses. Terming this move by Kejriwal as an 'election stunt', Tiwari said that this decision by Chief Minister has come with elections just three months away. Speaking to ANI, Tiwari said,
"This decision of Kejriwal is an election stunt. He has done thing in past so many months for women in city. Kejriwal has taken this decision as elections are just three months away."

Tiwari furr lashed out at Chief Minister and questioned about same benefits for students and senior citizens. "Why has he t included students in list. What about d people. Why this scheme was implemented just three months before elections," said Tiwari.

Marshals on Delhi buses
Earlier, Delhi CM h anunced an important step for safety of women using public transport. He stated that 13,000 marshals would be deployed on public buses. He contended that y would also help patients having poor health. Furrmore, he claimed that Delhi was only State in country to implement such an initiative.

Ahe of Delhi Assembly elections next year, CM Kejriwal has been anuncing a number of schemes that Opposition touts as 'freebies'. From free bus ride for women to free metro ride to reduction in electricity bill, Kejriwal's anuncements have been criticised by Opposition.
