Massive Python Coils into Powerhouse in Lucknow, Causes Outage

Lucknow: In a bizarre incident, a massive python was spotted curled up in the fencing of a powerhouse in Lucknow, causing panic and chaos among residents.

The non-poisonous snake had crawled into the high-voltage area at the powerhouse on Clyde Road.

The reptile was safely rescued by officials from the electricity and forest departments after the power supply was shut down.

Last year, a snake was rescued from a building housing several government offices, named Shakti Bhavan, in Lucknow.

The python was found coiled around files of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL).
