Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati slammed Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh Government over a police encounter on an alleged illegal sand mining case. alleged encounter took place in Patna killing a youth named Pushpendra Yadav. Taking to Twitter, BSP opined of "Jungleraj" prevailing in UP with law and order situation.
“Crimes are openly carried out in state’s capital Luckw, n it can be considered that or cities are also suffering same fate. People are enrd over fake encounter and are raising ir voices. It is clear that re is law and order, but ‘Jungleraj’ prevails in Uttar Pradesh.”, tweeted Mayawati.

Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav has also tried to gain political mile out of situation by visiting family of deceased and alleged that police killed a youth in Jhansi in a std gunfight. SP president demanded a murder charge be levelled against Station House Officer (SHO) involved in case and a probe into incident by a sitting high court judge. He appended that one believes in version asserted by police and declared encounter a murder.
