Minor Girl Abducted, Gang Raped In Uttar Pradesh's Banda; Police Nab Accused

Banda: In Uttar Presh's Banda, a 16-year-old mir girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two men when she was returning home from a fair. A senior police official on Friday said that two accused have been arrested and furr legal action into matter is being taken.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Pailani police station, Inspector Anand Kumar said that girl h gone to fair in a neighbouring vill with her elder sister on October 7. While sisters were returning home in evening, accused, identified as Aavesh and Mujibur Rahman, stopped her, forcibly me her sit in ir car and took her to an unkwn place where y raped her.

Based on a complaint lodged by girl's mor, an FIR was lodged in matter and girl's medical examination was done, he said.

Kumar said two accused were arrested on Friday and produced before a court, which sent m to jail.
