At a felicitation event organised in Surat for 122 soldiers who lost their lives on the line of duty, Rajnath Singh warned Pakistan to stop promoting terrorism on its land. Speaking at the event in Surat, Defence minister Rajnath Singh warned Imran Khan that if people will cross the Line of Control then the Indian Army will not let them go back.

"Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan has given a piece of good advice to his people to not cross the Line of Control, because Indian soldiers are ready and will not allow them to return," the Defence Minister said.

Rajnath Singh also spoke about the situation of minorities in Pakistan. "It is not hidden from the world on how Pakistan is treating it's minority communities like Sindhis, Sikhs, Balochis and many such other minorities. Before raising Human Rights Violation in the UN, You should first see the condition of human rights in your own country." 

Pak facing global criticism 

Singh also said Pakistan was unable to digest India's decision to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and went to the United Nations to mislead it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created such a belief and trust in India across the world that the international community is not ready to believe what Pakistan is saying, he said.

Pakistan has also been facing global criticism for the way its minority communities are treated in the country. A few days ago, reports of abduction and forced conversion of a Sikh woman surfaced across various media platforms in India. A video of the girl's family surfaced online where they claimed that their daughter was forcefully abducted and threatened to convert to Islam.

'Minority Communities are safe in India'

"Minority communities have always stayed safe in India and Pakistan cannot digest this fact," Rajnath Singh said, attacking Pakistan PM Imran Khan who has been talking about Human Rights Violation in Kashmir valley. "You can go there and see what is happening with Balochis, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains and Buddhists... A country like this is trying to defame India by talking about human rights violations," he said, adding that the whole world is now understanding this.

India's minorities were safe, are safe, and will remain safe, he said, adding that India does not divide people on basis of caste or religion. The programme for the families of the fallen soldiers was organised by Maruti Vir Jawan Trust.

The Maruti Vir Jawan Trust gave financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh to each of the 122 families.
