Mizoram Appoints Khilli Ram Meena as New Chief Secretary

Aizawl: Khilli Ram Meena has been appointed as new chief secretary of Mizoram, an official said on Thursday.

Meena, a 1993-batch officer of AGMUT (Arunachal Presh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories) cre, served as an ditional secretary in Ministry of Minority Affairs before he was repatriated to his parent cre recently.

Following retirement of Renu Sharma, Mizoram government, in an interim arrangement, appointed H. Lalengmawia, commissioner and secretary in higher and technical education, and fisheries departments, as chief secretary.

Earlier, Mizoram government h requested Centre to name Vumlunmang Vualnam, Manipur cre IAS officer of 1992 batch, to succeed Sharma, official ded.
