Modi Cabinet 2.0 Scoop: NDA allies to get one ministerial berth each at swearing-in ceremony today; new Ministers to meet PM Modi at 7LKM before oath-taking
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be sworn in for the second consecutive term on May 30 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in a grand ceremony which will be attended by over 8,000 guests.

Ahead of the grand ceremony, sources have told Republic TV that NDA allies including JD(U) and LJP in Bihar, Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, SAD in Punjab are set to get one ministerial berth each during PM Modi's swearing-in ceremony. As per inputs, further berths will be decided in due course.

Whether the leaders to be chosen for the Cabinet or for the post of the Minister of State will be decided on the stature of the MP nominated by their respective party chiefs.
Furthermore, sources have told Republic TV that the ministers who will take oath today will be meeting Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi at 4:30 PM at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg ahead of the ceremony which is set to take place at 7 pm.

Earlier speaking to news agency ANI, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, which an ally of the NDA-led by PM Modi said that all partners in the alliance, including his own party will get one ministry berth in the new Modi government that will be sworn in on Thursday. He further stated that Arvind Sawant's name has been nominated by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and he will take oath as a minister on May 30.

On Thursday morning, PM Modi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rajpath, former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Sadaiv Atal Samadhi and paid homage to the martyrs at the National War Memorial New Delhi. Following this, BJP president Amit Shah visited PM Narendra Modi residence after which discussions were held for over 1.5 hours between the two leaders.
On May 29. sources told Republic TV that over 40 ministers may take oath along with the Prime Minister on Thursday, with preparations underway for the biggest swearing-in ceremony that Rashtrapati Bhawan has ever hosted.
