Mongolian President along with his delegation visits Taj Mahal
The president of Mongolia, Khaltmaagiin Battulga visited the Taj Mahal with his delegation on Saturday, Sep 21. Battulga is on his five-day visit to India.

president of Mongolia, Khaltmaagiin Battulga visited Taj Mahal with his delegation on Saturday, September 21. Mongolian president is on a five-day visit to India and he was received by Union Minister on Thursday. On Friday, Battulga and Prime Minister Narendra Modi jointly unveiled Lord Buddha statue at Gandan Monastery in Mongolia via video-conferencing. Battulga received a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan and was received by President Ram Nath Kovind. He also visited Rajghat on Friday and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
Inauguration of Buddha Statue
PM Modi and President of Mongolia, Khaltmaagiin Battulga, on September 20 jointly inaugurated Lord Buddha statue at Gandan Monastery in Mongolia. Battulga's visit to India is first state visit by a Mongolian President in last 10 years. Mongolia has been previously visited by former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj in April 2018, former home minister Rajnath Singh in June 2018, and former minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju in July 2018. statue is a symbol of India-Mongolia spiritual partnership and shared Buddhist herit.

India-Mongolia talks
Both countries during ir talks reaffirmed that as y share civilisational, historical, spiritual and cultural links y will continue to deepen and broaden ir Strategic Partnership. y agreed to keep this momentum of reciprocal high-level visits in order to maintain full potential of Strategic Partnership. Both sides ted convergence of views between two countries on important global and regional security issues and reaffirmed that y will continue tradition of coordination and support. Furrmore, realising danger of organized crime, money laundering and financing of terrorism and related crimes to integrity and stability of financial sector, two sides reaffirmed ir commitment to maintaining ecomic security. Both countries also signed MoUs on cooperation and disaster manment to provide a new dimension to ir partnership.
