MoS Ajay Mishra praises Centre's action on terror, avers India in 'safe hands'

MoS Ajay Mishra said that terrorists are unable to execute their plans, as there is good coordination between the security forces and intelligence agencies

Applauding Centre's efforts towards eliminating terror attacks in India, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Kumar Mishra on Thursday, 23 September, said that ne of terrorists' plans will work as country is in "safe hands with a robust system". Minister said that  terrorists are unable to execute ir plans since 2014, as security forces and intelligence ncies share good coordination. 

Ajay Kumar Mishra told ANI, "Our neighbouring country has been continuously trying to spre instability in our country for a very long time through its intelligence ncy. We have foiled ir every effort. Right w some terrorists associated with such modules have been arrested. Information has also come about m."

Responding to  intelligent inputs over Pakistan's ISI planning to attack India during  festive season, Mishra said, "In every global platform and summit, we have raised concerns about fact that Pakistan is promoting terrorism endangering entire world. As techlogy progresses, y (terror organisations) are doing new experiments. y chose crowded places and festive season. However, any such attempts by terrorists will t succeed as we have a robust system. country is in safe hands."

Furr informing that six terrorists were arrested last week, he ded, "As long as re are countries like this (Pakistan), se terror organisations would continue to try such attempts in world. But, we want to assure people that ne of ir efforts will be successful."

Pakistan's terror plot

terror attacks were planned in 3 populated cities during ongoing festive season, with whole operation being coordinated by Dawood Ibrahim's bror - Anees Ibrahim. Two arrested terrorists named Osama and Zeeshan h been trained in Pakistan and were working under instructions of ISI to operate terror plot, police revealed. y h been tasked with conducting a reconnaissance of different suitable locations in Delhi and UP for placing IEDs for blast, y ded.

Later Jammu and Kashmir ditional Director (G) Mukesh Singh confirmed to Republic Media Network on September 18, that y are in touch with  Delhi police special cell in relation to multi-state anti-terror operation that is underway. He furr highlighted evolution of weapons and techniques used for terror attacks.
