MP CM Demands Apology From Congress for Opposing His Foreign Tour to Draw Investment to State
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday demanded an apology from the opposition Congress for criticising his foreign tour, aimed at attracting investment to the BJP-governed state.

Yav is scheduled to visit two European nations from November 23 to December 1.

State Congress chief Jitu Patwari has dubbed Yav’s tour of United Kingdom and Germany an “open drama in name of investment” and jibed that CM wants to be an “international tourist like Prime Minister Narendra Modi ”.
Responding to Congress’ criticism, Yav said, “If we are organising a world-class investors’ summit in February next year, I must visit abro to invite investors. I am going to England and Germany and go wherever we will find investors.” CM urged opposition to see things positively and make efforts to bring investment to state.

“If you want welfare of Mhya Presh, you will have to rise above politics. I appeal to m through you (media) that y apologise for ir statements. It’s not good to oppose investors’ summit,” he said.
Yav said that state government has successfully organised regional industry conclaves in Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa and Ujjain and a large amount of investment is coming in which will furr generate employment.

He said that Rs 2.5 lakh crore to Rs 3 lakh crore will come to Mhya Presh and investment will boost state’s growth.
Yav said that regional industry conclaves will be organised in Narmapuram and Shahdol districts before investors’ meet in February 2025.

In a statement on Saturday, Patwari h said, “An open drama is going on in name of investment in Mhya Presh. Crores of rupees are being spent in name of government publicity. When CM and officials got bored of roaming in various states, y are now exploring possibilities of government tourism abro.” Congress leer claimed that a team of officials would accompany CM to prepare for roshows in London, Munich and Berlin to attract investment to MP.
“Taking inspiration from prime minister, now chief minister of Mhya Presh also wants to become an international tourist,” Patwari h said. PTI U NR
