MP woman delivers ‘rare conjoined twins’ with two heads, three hands

MP woman delivered a baby with two heads and three hands in Vidhisha. Both mother and baby are currently healthy and the parents vowed to raise the child.

A first-time mor fainted in shock after giving birth to a baby with two hes and three hands in Vidhisha, Mhya Presh. Later, parents, Jaswant Singh Ahirwar, 25, and his wife Babita Ahirwar, 21, vowed to take care of child. Both mor and baby are currently healthy but doctors said that survival rate for such babies and leing a rmal life is dismal.

couple got married about one and a half years ago and were told after Babita’s sography in 35th month of her pregnancy that y were going to have twins. But y were t expecting ir child to have two hes. According to doctors, such cases are a result of fetus t developing properly in womb but condition occurs one in a million.

Jaswant said that he and his wife were shocked when y saw baby. He said that y were happy to have two kids after ultrasound report came out but y didn’t kw it would be one baby with two hes. twins are under observation around clock and would be referred to an vance hospital for furr treatment.

Dr Surendra Sonkar, child specialist at district hospital, said that y will take expert opinions from Bhopal and Delhi as y have performed operation on such child. far said that he will raise baby but he doesn’t have money for such operations. Jaswant ded that he will take child to a better hospital if government helps him.

Successful surgery
