Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed anguish over collapse of four-story building in Mumbai's Dongri area in which four people have lost ir lives and several have suffered major injuries on Tuesday. Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister's office condoled deaths of citizens in accident.

He has furr hoped that injured may recover soon, ding that Maharashtra Government, NDRF and local authorities are working continuously on rescue operations.

After a portion of a 30-year-old building at Tandel Streethas collapsed in South Mumbai's crowded Dongri neighbourhood, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fnavis in his first reaction asserted that first and initial priority is to rescue people trapped under debris. 

Chief Minister of state moreover ded that an investigation will ascertain and fix responsibility for how trdy took place.

He said, "As per initial information, nearly 15 families are feared to be trapped because of a building collapsed in Dogri. focus w is on people stuck beneath debris. This will be investigated once everything becomes clear".
