Mumbai Metro and Central Railways Extend Services for Maharashtra Election 2024

Mumbai: To ensure seamless transportation during Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Election 2024, Maha Mumbai Metro Operations Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) has announced extended metro services on November 20, 2024. This initiative aims to make travel convenient for voters and election staff, encouraging a higher voter turnout across Mumbai. ditionally, Central Railways has introduced special local trains starting today to furr accommodate election-related commuters.

Extended Metro Services: Key Details

Mumbai Metro will operate for extended hours on polling day:

• Early morning services: From 4:00 AM to 5:22 AM
• Late-night services: From 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Frequency: Trains will run every 20 minutes during se periods.
