Mumbai Traffic Update: Police Issue Advisory Due to Tilak Bridge Construction, Check Routes

Mumbai: In light of ongoing construction of new Tilak Bridge in Mumbai, a traffic visory has been issued for October 13-14, 2024. To facilitate laying of an iron girder for bridge, traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg will be impacted from 11 pm on October 13 to 5 am on October 14.

During this period, rthbound vehicular traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg will be completely closed between Electric Pole . 95 and Electric Pole . 83, which spans Kavi Keshavsut Bridge. Commuters are vised to avoid this route and plan accordingly to minimize delays.

To man traffic flow, rthbound vehicles will be diverted to one lane of southbound lane between Electric Pole . 95 and Electric Pole . 83. Traffic officials have urged drivers to follow diversions and allow extra time for ir journeys.
