Mumbai Police’s Stranger Things 3 reference for spreading awareness has won the internet, take a look

The social media handle of the Mumbai Police is known for its quirky take on the popular culture reference in order to create awareness among the netizens about various issues. This time they have taken a reference from Netflix's series Stranger Things Season 3 to tell the social media users that no matter what, there are with them through.

The screengrab from the Stranger Things 3 has a quote saying "Can we please Dial 100 now?". The scene refers to when the boys Mike, Will and Lucas go to Starcourt Mall to look for a gift for Eleven after she breaks up with Mike.

The caption reads, "No matter what the emergency is, we're with you through #StrangerThings #Dial100". 

Mumbai Police has posted the tweet at a time when the city is facing incessant rain which ahs brought the financial capital to a standstill. Reiterating that they are with the people throughout the time, Mumbai Police has urged the people to dial up 100 for any emergency.

Earlier, the Mumbai Police Twitter account shared a message urging the Mumbaikars to not find themselves alone on a rainy day, and Dial 100 for emergencies.

Here's an 'Aladdin' reference message for the people saying, "You ain't never had a friend like me!"

In another creative take on films, Mumbai Police ask the citizens to not behave like dinosaurs on the road this monsoon and follow the guidelines for a smooth ride.
