Mumbai Rains didn't cause this viral 'waterfall', here's what did

In a shocking video shared on twitter, New Cuffe Parade witnesses a waterfall gushing amidst Mumbai rains making it look like the aftermath of heavy rainfall.

Amidst heavy rains in city of Mumbai, New Cuffe Parade witnessed a waterfall gushing through cement and bricks in an astonishing video on Wednesday. This video was shared on twitter by K Sudarshan. Initially coming off as probable dam done by incessant rain, it was found out to be something else. Lodha New Cuffe Parade team tified that incident occurred as a result of testing of a new water tank.

New Cuffe Parade waterfall 

incident occurred as a result of a new vendor testing water tank. tank was being tested at building T5 (Dioro). It was reported that tank had sustained a rupture in body. As a result of rupture, water came gushing out.

Meanwhile, BMC on Mumbai Rains 

As a result of continual rains in Mumbai, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a statement asking schools in city and suburbs to remain closed. BMC also cautioned educational institutes to ensure safe travel back home for school children. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'red alert'. IMD also predicted heavy rainfall in city and nearby areas.
