On Friday (November 8) morning, Mumbai city woke up to cloudy and windy weather. Mumbai witnessed a sudden change in weather, with many areas in and around the city experiencing heavy downpour. The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in several parts of the city for the next 48 hours. The meteorology department has stated that the off-season rains is an outcome of the Cyclone Maha, that hit the coast of Gujarat in the early hours of Thursday.
