Muslim Woman Beaten, Poured Hot ‘Dal’ And Given Triple Talaq In Ayodhya For Praising CM Yogi

Ayodhya: A Muslim woman in Ayodhya was allegedly beaten up bly, was poured hot ‘dal’ and was given ‘triple talaq’ by her husband after she praised Chief Minister Yogi ityanath for all development works being done in Ayodhya Dham. victim alleged that her husband and her in-laws attempted to kill her by choking her throat before pouring hot dal. During incident, victim sustained serious burn injuries.

Shockingly, victim claimed that Uttar Presh police didn’t cooperate with her over her complaint as a result she kept on urging police in Ayodhya and Bahraich (victim’s parental dress), but her complaint was heard nowhere. police reportedly even didn’t file an FIR on her complaint.

Police Didn't Pay Attention On Complaint, Claims Victim

victim, identified as Maryam, a resident of Uttar Presh’s Bahraich, was married to Arsh, a resident of Ayodhya, on December 13, 2023. It was after marriage that one day Maryam, went out with her husband Arsh to take a tour of Ayodhya Dham. She was mesmerised by development work and impressed with beauty of Ayodhya, especially ‘Ram Ki Paidi’, Kanak Bhawan and ghats of Saryu river.

While returning home, Maryam expressed her thoughts on development work in Ayodhya and praised Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi before her husband. However, praising words for PM Modi and CM Yogi, didn’t go well with Maryam’s husband Arsh as he threatened her with dire consequences at home.

As per complaint letter, Maryam alleged that Arsh, who was miffed with praise for CM Yogi, beat up his wife bly. He even choked her throat with intention to kill her. Not only this, her in-laws joined her husband in process and poured hot dal on her as she was lying on floor in a semi-conscious condition after getting thrashed.

Arsh also allegedly stated that he doesn't care about chief minister and prime minister and about law saying that he has given ‘talaq, talaq, talaq’ to her and that he has no relation with Maryam. accused husband even abused and me derogatory remarks against CM Yogi and PM Modi.

She was also kicked out of house and asked to return to her parents. Following entire episode, Maryam and her family went to police in Bahraich and Ayodhya, but police allegedly didn’t pay attention to her complaint.

Disappointed with Uttar Presh’s police response, Maryam's far Mohamm Sharif lodged a complaint regarding incident on Uttar Presh Chief Minister's portal, pleing for safety and justice to her daughter.
