Varanasi: A feast hosted by Bharatiya Janata Party's Bhohi MP Vinod Kumar Bind at his office in Karsa-da area turned into a battleground as guests, who were allegedly served mutton gravy without any pieces, created a ruckus. situation escalated when guests, upset by incomplete dish, slapped youth who was serving mutton, leing to an unruly scene that lasted several minutes. 

confrontation continued until senior BJP leers and local residents intervened to restore order.

A video clip showing people leaving feast venue with food packets and injured youth heing towards his motorcycle went viral on social media.

According to reports, at party hosted at Bind's office in Karsa area, a youth h joined 'Pangat' (guests sitting and dining on ground in a row).

He grew suspicious after he was served too much gravy in his bowl. To rest his doubts, he dipped a finger into his bowl and couldn't find a single mutton piece rein.

As tempers flew, he inquired person serving food about it, and after not receiving a satisfactory response, hurled abuses at him and slapped him.

This led to a clash between youth's companions and caterer, forcing or guests to leave feast. Some senior cres and locals intervened to pacify both parties.

When reporters later approached MP Bind at a public meeting of Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath in Majhawan on Friday, he declined to comment on incident. 

Umashankar Bind, who oversees MP’s office, explained that most invitees h alrey consumed food and event was winding down when disturbance occurred. 

He ded that some youths, who h been drinking at a nearby country liquor shop, entered venue uninvited, causing furr tension.
