Incessant rain caused flood in parts of Dimapur and Phek districts of Nagaland, claiming two lives, an official said in Kohimaon Sunday. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio visited affected vills of Dimapur district. Nagaland State Disaster Manment Authority (NSDMA) said low-lying areas of 13 vills in Dimapur district and Phek, hequarter town of Phek district, were submerged by rainwater.

Nagaland receives heavy rainfall

Nagaland received a total rainfall of 809.75 mm in past two days, Viya said.
