In Nagrota, a total of 8 candidates are contesting the polls, 12 candidates are contesting in Jammu West, 17 candidates in Jammu North, 6 candidates in Marh and 3 candidates in Akhnoor. 

Among the key candidates from these districts are Devendra Singh Rana ( BJP ), Balbir Singh ( Congress ), Joginder Singh (NC), and Shabir Chowdhary (JKAP) from Nagrota. Manmohan Singh ( Congress ), Gourav Chopra (DPAP), Arvind Gupta ( BJP ) and Rajat Gupta (PDP) from Jammu West.
