Naqvi Says Muslims Needn't Have Allergy Towards BJP; It Works for All's Development

Former Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, addressing a BJP event in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, called upon Muslims to support the BJP, emphasizing the party's commitment to development without discrimination.

Speaking at the BJP 's 'Sakriya Sadasyata Abhiyan' event, Naqvi asserted, "When the ruling party does not discriminate against any section in terms of development, then why should there be any stinginess in supporting it?" He highlighted the Modi-Yogi governments' priority of securing societal harmony over protecting rioters and strongmen.

Naqvi stressed that ensuring a society free from riots and hooligans is a constitutional responsibility of any government. "We will have to crush the selfish political custom of clemency for criminals. We need to punish perpetrators," he stated.

Referring to past governments, Naqvi noted, “The backward and downtrodden sections of society had been the biggest victims of the scourge of riots.”

Addressing minorities, especially Muslims, Naqvi urged against harboring any "allergy" towards the BJP . "We have to work very hard to convert this distrust into trust," he said. "We must proudly assert that when the BJP doesn't discriminate against any section in terms of development, there should also not be any stinginess in support for the BJP."
