festival of Navratri has started from Sunday and arrangements for festival in full swing. For many, body painting tattoos on social issues are also a part of Navratri celebrations this year. People have been visiting tattoo studios to get mselves painted with tattoos on social issues such as article 370 or that of Chandrayaan-2.
Body tattoos on social issues
Body tattoos have become a trend among youth today as people from urban and semi-urban areas are seen sporting a variety of tattoos. To d a colour of festivity to trend, youngsters from Surat are visiting local tattoo studios on eve of Navratri to get ir body painted with tattoos on social issues and achievements that we as Indian have h this year.

ANI has shared some ims of young students and professionals all decked up to resonate festive vibes with tattoos of Article 370 and 35A that were revoked this year, some have also got mselves tattoos of Chandrayaan-2 which was a path-breaking lunar mission by India that brought world’s attention on nation’s might in domain of astromy and studies, while some were seen sporting tattoos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of United States Donald Trump. Some have sported tattoos of climate change and plastic ban which serves purpose of spreing awareness on social issues on eve of festival and celebration.

Youth wants to send a mess
A local tattoo artist from Surat said that youth is trying to send a mess by getting tattoos of climate change, Chandrayaan-2, and new traffic rules through ir tattoos. Payal Dani, a student who h gotten a body paint tattoo on recent abrogation of provisions of Article 370 and 35A said she opted for it to give a mess to society.

Darshini, ar student who h got a tattoo of Chandrayaan-2, said she was proud to get it as it displayed one of country's proudest achievement. "I want to send mess that Chandrayaan-2 was a big achievement for nation this year, this is mess I want to send through my tattoo," she said.
Navratri is being celebrated from September 29 to October 7 this year with worship of nine different forms of Goddess Durga and preparations have begun in full swing in different parts of country.
