From Deepika, Sara & Shraddha's grilling to Kshitij's arrest, an update of NCB probe today

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday summoned several Bollywood A-listers for interrogation about ir alleged role in drug nexus being probed by central ncy.

Kshitij Ravi Pras arrested

Dharma Productions-associated executive producer Kshitij Ravi Pras was placed under arrest by NCB on Saturday morning for procuring drugs for influential people including businessmen and film celebrities. Kshitij Ravi Pras h also been named by an alleged peddler Ankush Arneja, also arrested by NCB, as well as actor Rakul Preet Singh in her confession to ncy.  latter even named him for supplying drugs to her close associates in Bollywood. 

Deepika Pukone accepts 'maal' chats

During his interrogation, Kshitij revealed names of 5 Bollywood celebrities and 2 producers in connection with drugs angle. Later on Saturday, Deepika Pukone and her manr Karishma Prakash reached NCB Guest House at Colaba in Mumbai for interrogation. Deepika was confronted about her group chats with Jaya Saha, an employee of KWAN talent manment ncy (one that mans Deepika's work) and alleged kingpin, and actor accepted that she h asked for 'maal' in those chats. However, sources at NCB informed that ncy has t given a clean chit to actor and that her responses seemed 'evasive and tutored'.

Karishma says 'hash t drug'; Shrdha keeps mum on CBD order

Karishma Prakash, on or hand, was confronted with her chats with alleged drug peddler Anuj Keswani, where she stated that ‘hash’ was t a drug. She followed Jaya Saha who h claimed earlier that ‘doobies’ and buds’ were t terms for curated marijuana, but terms used for cigarettes by 'high society'. Shrdha Kapoor, meanwhile, denied consuming drugs but has accepted her chats with Jaya Saha. Despite her mission to ncy on chatting with Jaya Saha, Shrdha Kappor remained silent about procurement and consumption of CBD oil.

Sara denies consuming; NCB impounds phones of all summoned

Sara Ali Khan also denied that she consumed drugs and also brought up late actor stating that he consumed drugs.

Sources have also informed that NCB has seized cellphones of all se actors after ir interrogation in order to collect more digital evidence of ir involvement in drug cartel in Bollywood. ncy has t issued any summons for Deepika Pukone, Shrdha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan for ar round of interrogation.

NCB to submit report to DG Rakesh Asthana

NCB Director-General of Southwest region, Muthu Ashok Jain dressed media on Saturday evening and shared that ir findings will w be reviewed in order to determine ir future course of action. He also revealed that above 18 arrests have been me under case and many people have been interrogated in due course. It was also informed that SIT at NCB's Mumbai Zonal Office will send an investigation report to ncy's main Director-General Rakesh Asthana within 3 days which hints at a concrete finding by ncy.
