NCW chairperson expresses serious concern
After going through the complaint, NCW chairperson expressed serious concern on the issue and said that the matter has been taken up with Delhi police.
"It is a matter of serious concern as issues like these act as a deterrent to women who intend to join politics. It shows the sheer misconduct of the person making such comments. We have taken up the matter with CP, Delhi" Said Ms. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson of NCW.

"Today I met the chairperson of NCW and raised the matter of the AAP MLA using indecent language against me on a public stage. After listening to my complaint she said if an MLA is using this language on a public platform, then this is condemnable. She has assured me a justified action in the case. Since the time AAP has formed its government, they have crossed all limits and have been immersed in attacking women. AAP is the same party which earlier used to talk about women's welfare but now, they themselves are doing such acts against women. I would also like to add that on September 9, I had gone to the chairperson of Delhi Commission of Women, Ms. Swati Maliwal, with my complaint but till today no action has been taken against the MLA. DCW chief didn't even meet me to listen to my complaint. It really pains me to tell you that the DCW chief is just busy in saving the AAP MLAs. If this is happening to a woman politician then what about other women? After meeting NCW, I have demanded that an FIR should be registered against Rituraj and appropriate legal action must be taken in this case. I also demand that Arvind Kejriwal needs to suspend Rituraj with immediate effect" told the victim to Republic TV.
NCW has now taken up the case with Delhi Police commissioner to proceed with necessary action in the matter.
