NEET Student Raped, Blackmailed By Teachers Of Coaching Centre In Kanpur

Kanpur: A NEET student in Uttar Presh’s Kanpur, was allegedly raped and blackmailed by two well-kwn teachers from a popular coaching centre. According to police, victim, who was a mir student when she went to Kanpur to prepare for NEET medical entrance exam, was threatened by two accused if she informed anyone about ir acts. Allegedly two accused were sexually assaulting victim for months, following which a complaint was filed before police and both teachers were arrested.

As per police, one of teachers was arrested a few months ago after CCTV foot of him allegedly sexually harassing ar student was widely shared.

A senior police official of Uttar Presh police said that student h gone to Kanpur to prepare for exam in 2022 and took mission in a coaching centre to prepare for NEET exams.

In her complaint, victim stated that in January this year, her biology teacher, Sahil Siddiqui (32) invited her to a party at his house which he said was meant for all students. However, when girl reached his flat, she realised that she was alone. Later, during her stay at his flat, Siddiqui allegedly got her drunk, raped her and filmed act.

Following incident, accused, Siddiqui raped her on several occasions after threatening victim to make her obscene video public and kill her family. He held her host at his flat for some time and n coerced her to attend parties re. It was during one such party that she was raped by her 39-year-old chemistry teacher, Vikas Porwal.

A video of Siddiqui allegedly sexually harassing ar student went viral recently and he was released on bail. An official said this me student overcome her fear of him and file a police complaint on Thursday.

A first information report (FIR) was registered on Friday and both Siddiqui and Porwal were arrested same night.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Abhishek Pandey said, " student told us she was raped by accused on separate occasions. A case has been registered and two men have been arrested and are being questioned. student was a mir at time and has requested us t to share too many details."
