Netizens hail ISRO's K Sivan's simplicity for flying economy; Watch

ISRO Chairman K Sivan who won hearts across the country following the Chandrayaan 2 mission has charmed the netizens this time with his simplicity

ISRO Chairman K Sivan who won hearts across the country following the Chandrayaan 2 mission has charmed the netizens this time. A netizen posted a video of the ISRO chief flying in economy class in a private airline. He lauded the K Sivan for his simplicity. Hailing him for travelling in Economy class despite being a top space engineer and Chairman of India's premier space agency, the netizen said he was proud of the ISRO chief.

ISRO chief K Sivan flies economy

In the video, one can see K Sivan inside the airplane standing with the cabin crew. The ISRO chief obliged the cabin crew by posing for pictures with them. He also spoke to them greeting them and shaking hands with them. The cabin crew also welcomed K Sivan on the aircraft and thanked him for his kind gesture. K Sivan got a round of applause from the passengers seated in the plane.

Netizens moved by ISRO chief's simplicity

Netizens were moved by the simplicity of the ISRO chairman which was displayed as he flew economy class despite holding an important position at the ISRO. K Sivan during an address at the convocation ceremony of students of IIT Bhubhaneshwar spoke about his humble upbringing. He had also said that he never got the choice of subject or career but think worked out for him. He also shared important life lessons with the students in his speech.
