Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh gets a new Vande Bharat Express train between Meerut city and Lucknow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off a total of three new Vande Bharat Express trains - between Madurai-Bengaluru, Chennai-Nagercoil and Meerut city-Lucknow.

Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express: Timings, Duration
As compared to the other fastest trains between Meerut and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, the Meerut city-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express is faster by an hour. The Train no. 22490/22489, as flagged off my PM Modi will be operating six days a week and will cover 459 km in 7 hours and 10 minutes.
The journey to Lucknow from Meerut will start at 6:35 am and the train is expected to reach the state capital at 1:45 pm. From Lucknow, this Vande Bharat Express starts at 2:45 pm and is expected to reach Meerut by 10:00 pm.

The Madurai Junction-Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat Express train will link the temple city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu with the tech hub of Bengaluru, stopping at Dindigul, Trichy, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, and Krishnarajapuram. It will run six days a week, covering 573 km in 7 hours and 45 minutes.
Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express
The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express will stop at Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli, and Nagercoil Junction.
