New Zealand's Leader of Opposition meets BJP's working prez JP Nadda

BJP National Working President, Jagat Prakash Nadda, met New Zealand's Leader of Opposition, Simon Bridges, on Tuesday to discuss the bilateral issues.

Rajya Sabha MP and BJP national working president Jagat Prakash Nadda met New Zealand's Leader of Opposition, Simon Bridges, on Tuesday to discuss bilateral issues between the two countries. They met in the BJP party office at New Delhi and discussed a range of matters that concern New Zealand and India. Simon Bridges also met the Union Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Monday and held discussions on Indo-Pacific ties. The India-New Zealand Business Council tweeted about the meeting between the BJP working president and the delegation of ministers from New Zealand.

Later, on Monday, the New Zealand lawmaker, along with his delegation comprising of High Commission officials and other parliamentarians also called on Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The Jal Shakti Ministry said that "The agenda was to promote bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of water quality and quantity". Bridges also addressed India New Zealand Business Council on Tuesday morning.

The delegation of ministers accompanying Simon Bridges

A delegation of ministers including former minister of Foreign Affairs Gerry Brownlee and former minister of Defence, Kanwaljit Singh Baksh were accompanying Simon Bridges in the meet. Apart from this, press secretary, Rachel Morton and Policy Adviser, Rahul Mukund were also present.
