NIA Nabs 3 Suspects In ISIS-Inspired Coimbatore Car Bomb Blast Case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested three more accused in the October 2022 ISIS-inspired car bomb blast case of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.

New Delhi: National Investigation ncy (NIA) on Monday arrested three more accused in October 2022 ISIS-inspired car bomb blast case of Coimbatore in Tamil Nu. three suspects arrested by NIA have been identified as Aboo Hanifa, Saran Mariappan and Pavas Rahman. With fresh arrest in case, total number of accused arrested in case has gone up to 18.
According to NIA, with arrest of Aboo Hanifa, Saran Mariappan and Pavas Rahman, central probe ncy has uneard terror financing angle in case, in which total number of accused arrested has gone up to 18. Four chargesheets have been filed against 14 accused by ncy before NIA Court at Poonamallee, Chennai.

An offshoot case registered with respect to ricalization h separately led to arrest and chargesheeting of four accused by NIA.
