Nitin Gadkari to inaugurate 9 national highway projects of over Rs 2,752 crore in Tripura

Union Minister for Ro Transport and Highways Nitin Gkari will lay foundation stone of nine highway projects in Tripura on Tuesday. projects, worth more than Rs. 2,752 crore, are aimed at enhancing socio-ecomic conditions of area. CM Biplab Kumar Deb, Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and VK Singh along with several or state ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior officers from Centre and state will be attending event.

"Hassle-free connectivity"
Ministry of Ro Transport and Highways informed about benefits of projects being inaugurated in Tripura. Calling it a 'major stride' in expanding tourism sector, Ministry said that project will provide better connectivity within country as well as with Banglesh. It furr informed that project will most likely generate employment in region which will, in turn, improve socio-ecomic condition of locality. It will also reduce travel time, maintenance cost of vehicles, save fuel and improve transport of agricultural goods and access to markets which will, in turn, reduce cost of goods and services.

" projects, on completion, will provide faster and hassle-free inter-state and international connectivity to Banglesh and will be a major stride towards strengning tourism sector of state. new projects will provide better connectivity, fast and safe movement of traffic to various tourist places, historical places and religious places in entire state," re statement.
"y are likely to generate a large number of employment and self-employment opportunities to unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled manpower of region. projects will reduce travel time and maintenance cost of vehicles and saving of fuel,” statement said," informed Ro Transportation and Highway Ministry.

"In a nutshell, after completion of above projects, re will be a quantum jump in development of tourism, ecomic and international connectivity of this region. Finally, it will give impetus to GDP (gross domestic product) of Tripura, " Ministry ded.
