No anniversary, no problem: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra says 'Robert Vadra, you can still take me out for dinner!'

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined the #SareeTwitter trend on Wednesday sharing a throwback picture of her herself in a pink saree from the day of her wedding with Robert Vadra 22 years ago. Sharing the #SareeTwitter post, Priyanka Vadra had said that the picture was from the morning puja on the day of her wedding, which took place in February 1997. 

However, social media users got confused from her post, and sent her congratulatory anniversary messages and comments, assuming that it is her wedding on July 17.

Priyanka Vadra later took to Twitter and clarified that it is not her wedding anniversary today. In her tweet, she thanked the netizens for their anniversary wishes, adding that it is just a throwback photo for #SareeTwitter. She later said that her anniversary is in February. 

After clearing the confusion, the Congress leader added a hilarious twist to the moment and teased her husband Robert Vadra. In another tweet, she tagged Robert Vadra saying that he can still take her out for dinner (with a wink smile). 

The latest #SareeTwitter trend has taken social media by storm, with women from all walks of life including politicians, renowned journalists and celebrities sharing pictures of their favourite saree moments.
